In December 2004, two oldschool-indie guys met to establish what later has
become Sirka Ragnar.
Sirka Ragnar is an indietronika project located in Oslo, Norway. The duo,
consisting of Marius Grøtterud Egenes and Kenneth Silseth, combines 1950`s
tape recorders with the sound of new technology. At the time they are

been helped by Lars Wabø (Jaga Jazzist) and Ivar Chr. Johansen (formerly
Jaga Jazzist, Briskeby) with trombones and trumpets, to make the "Sirka
Ragnar sound" complete.
The "Sirka Ragnar sound" is described by themselves as : "two spoonfulls of
dirty low-fi, a hint of good old indie and a touch of tweaked electronica".
